Riverside
The western district of the city is called as Riverside. This district shares it western border with Cobb County and is on the banks of the Chattahoochee River. This is an affluent region and one can view very huge mansions that are on hilly and winding roads.
Downtown Sandy Springs
Downtown Sandy Springs is the region close to the Sandy Springs Circle, Roswell Road and Hammond Drive. This region is close to the historic sandy springs after which the city has been named. Currently arrangements are being thought of to construct a municipal complex at the location of the Target store on Sandy Springs circle.
Perimeter Center
The Perimeter Center has a Sandy Springs section where Pill Hill is situated. This is the biggest medical facility in Georgia. It comprises of Children’s Health Care of Atlanta, St. Joseph’s Hospital and Northside Hospital. In the neighborhood of this region, the Hammond Park is situated. At this place one can view the Medical Center (MARTA station) and Sandy Springs (MARTA station).
