Davenport House Museum has been constructed with the objective of interpretation of American-Federal style house, along with artifacts that were built by an extremely talented builder ‘Isaiah Davenport’ for his house-hold with prime emphasis on the time-span between 1820 and 1827; for educating, enriching, and inspiring visitors and community.
The other purpose is to recognize the house’s historical role in inception of ‘Historic Savannah Foundation’.
