Savannah College of Art and Design is a private university having campuses in Savannah and also in Locoste and Atlanta. Founded by Paula S Wallace, Paul Poetter, May Poetter and Richard Rowan, the college got established in 1978. It offers fine art degrees. There are almost 9,000 students enrolled here from all fifty states and 100 countries. This college offers a study abroad campus in Lacoste in France. This is a private and nonprofit institution which is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the South Association of Colleges and Schools, in order to award bachelors and master’s degrees.
