Sky Hike
Sky Hike is the biggest family adventure course in the country. Here it is required to trek through the treetops. It has been ensured that any two hikes are not the same. The choices opted for by the visitor results in a new challenge each time while safety is maintained by a patented overhead safety system. The following activities may be performed – balancing on a single rope at a considerable height above the ground, leaping from one wooden slat to other, climbing to the top of a vertical net bridge and exploring a quarter of a mile course along with children.
Summit Skyride
The Summit Skyride is the top attraction of the Stone Mountain. This is a high speed Swiss cable car by which visitors are taken 825 feet above the ground level to the pinnacle of the mountain. From this peak it is possible to view objects up to 60 miles away from the mountain. The Appalachian Mountains and stunning views of the Atlanta skyline can be viewed. The Confederate Memorial Carving can also be seen.
Paddlewheel Riverboat
Scarlett O’Hara is a genuine side-wheeler that has a capacity of 150 passengers. This is used for cruising across the serene waters of the Stone Mountain Lake. The cruise is of 20 minutes and every 30 minutes a new one starts. Kids who are less than 10 years old ought to use a life jacket.
