Overall Guide:  Pearl Harbor

The tragic incidences and subsequent changes linked with the above-mentioned naval base go on to make it one of the crucial portions of American heritage and history. The harbor is, by all means, large. However, Arizona memorial and Visitor’s Center are tourism hubs. These places do not have any entry fees as such.

Diamond Head State Monument

This crater, that too, of a volcano that does not exist anymore got the above-mentioned name when various Western explorers went on to mistake calcite crystals (found over ... More there) for diamonds. A historic trail towards 761-feet summit begins in the crater itself. Moreover, it’s a simple, steep hike of about 45 minutes to top. It’s advisable to wear appropriate footwear as well as sunscreen, along with bringing a flashlight for lighting the way via tunnels. This place remains open from 6:00 to 18:00 daily.
