Aiea can be referred to as a CDP, i.e. census designated place situated in the ‘City and County of Honolulu, Hawaii, US’. Aiea stands out from its fellow cities in terms of race, i.e. the biggest concentration of people relating to Japanese heritage are found over here.
The postal code is 96701. As per US Censor Bureau, this CDP happens to comprise of an area of 4.5 sq. Km, 0.3 sq. Km of which is water. Even though Aiea might seem to be much smaller geographically, majority of residents, while having described Aiea refer to majority of northern shore relating of Pearl Harbor’s East Loch to Aiea Bay, inclusive of associated uplands which rise northwards in to the Ko’olau Mountains.
Royal Summit and Newtown Communities are situated at Aiea’s western edge adjoining its edge with ‘Pearl City’ (at Kaahumanu Street).

Summer season is the best period to visit Aiea. It lasts from April to September.
