Downtown Honolulu is the governmental, commercial and the cultural center of the Hawaiian Islands. This neighborhood has ample attractions for the tourist to see. Downtown Honolulu is one mile across and all of the major attractions are within walking distance of each other. Some of the must see places in this neighborhood are Bishop Street which is similar to Wall Street. Then, there is the Aloha Tower, the Hawaii Maritime Center, the Hawaii State Public Library and many such places which are worth seeing. This neighborhood is the current and also the historical part of Honolulu city.
