Tourist Guide Molokai
Spread over an area of 673.4 sq km, Molokai is the fifth largest island on the Hawaiian archipelago in USA. It is made up of two volcanoes East Molokai and, the smaller, West Molokai.
The island of Molokai is largely dry and warm in summer with isolated incidents of thunderstorms. The average temperature in summer is around 25°C. In winter, more rain can be expected with average temperatures dropping to 21°C.
With a population of around 8,000, the island offers a peaceful environment to its visitors. Known as the ‘friendly isle’, the inhabitants of the island live the old Hawaiian lifestyle.
The island is blessed with a diverse topography ranging from rugged mountains and towering sea cliffs to a rain forest and ancient fish ponds.
