Halawa Valley is inhabited by few residents and is used mainly for recreational purposes like camping and hiking in the mountains. One can also opt for swimming, fishing and surfing at the Halawa Beach Park. The Halawa Valley has beautiful scenery and some outstanding overlooks. It is a perfect place for picnic facilities. While hiking, one can discover the beautiful vistas and the rich flora at Molokai.
