Palaau State Park is a beautiful 233 acre of park which is situated at the end of the Kalae Highway. This area offers excellent photographic opportunities of pasture lands and also forests of eucalyptus and Koa. The park overlooks Kalaupapa and Makanalua Peninsula around 1,600 feet below. There are also short trails which can lead to the Kalaupapa lookout.
