Molokai: Attractions and more...
Home to Papohaku Beach, the longest white sand beach on the Hawaiian archipelago, and the Kalaupapa National Historical Park, the island offers an unspoiled landscape to its visitors.
Molokai’s spectacular geography is best viewed when standing at the edge of Kalaupapa Lookout, situated in Pala’au State Park. The island boasts of the world’s tallest sea cliffs, and yet, maintains a quiet and serene atmosphere.
One of the best examples of a traditional fertility rock, and perhaps one of the most powerful, is the Kauleonanahoa. Legend says that if a woman were to spend a night at this rock and present offerings, she will become pregnant.
Historically, a coffee-growing region, a tour of the coffee plantations is equally enjoyable. History lovers will enjoy the Molokai Museum and Cultural Center and the RW Meyer Sugar Mill.
