The beach town of Poipu is situated in Kauai County and is located on the northern shore of the island of Kauai in Hawaii, USA. With an area of 7.2 sq km, Poipu has a population of over 2,000.
Even though Poipu has a semi-arid tropical climate, the prevailing trade winds have a cooling effect. The average temperature in summer is around 26°C, while in winter it is around 21°C. Brief spells of shower can be expected.
