Travel in USA has no risks associated with it. No particular vaccine is required when entering the US. The health facilities available are excellent, but expensive. Only emergency cases are attended to without any payment. Travel insurance for the US is highly recommended.

USA is largely safe for the tourists, but in the present scenario, threat of terror attacks has increased. There has been an increase in the security regulations post the 11 September terrorist attack. New restrictions have been imposed on hand luggage when travelling by air. Travellers are thus recommended to check with the respective airline for security information to avoid any inconvenience later. There have been some predictions regarding hurricanes in the Atlantic in 2007. This might adversely affect the Gulf Coast and the eastern US. Hence, tourists must take precautions accordingly.
