Near by cities that have tourist destinations are Decatur, Chattanooga and Birmingham. Decatur is 20 miles towards the west, Chattanooga is 80 miles northeast and Birmingham is 85 miles southeast.
WEUP Black Arts Festival is very popular here. It has bought over 165 performers in Alabama A& M University’s Campus to perform.
This festival is being celebrated since past 18 years.
