The city of Athol is located in the central north western hemisphere of the Idaho state. The city of Athol is an extremely small city as compared to other neighboring cities in the state of Idaho. Geographically the city is very small and stretches up to two square km in area. Thus the city has a very small area of land under its custody and is ranked as the 3rd smallest city in North America. It is obvious that a city with such small area has less number of inhabitants. The population of the city of Athol according to the last measured census is around 700 only. The climatic condition of this city is very much stable as compared to the other cities in the state of Idaho. The winters here are not so cold and long. The effects of global warming are being seen in the city of Athol. The result of this global warming has lead to an unexpected increase in the temperature of the city. In the last few years the city temperature had increased by 3 degrees, thus making the summers in the city much hotter and longer.
