Idaho Falls: Attractions and more...
Dominating the city’s low-slung skyline is the Idaho Falls Idaho Temple, a multi-tiered Mormon structure with a single-spire design, which is used by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
The Museum of Idaho is a national travelling exhibit museum which showcases the national and cultural heritage of the region. It also has the famous T-Rex exhibit. The Miles and Virginia Willard Arts Center is home to the beautifully-restored Colonial Theatre, while the Bonneville Museum can keep you occupied if you have extra time.
The world famous Yellowstone National Park lies around 170 km north-east of Idaho Falls, while the Grand Teton National Park and the Grand Targhee (a ski-and-summer resort) are other popular destinations to get to.
Explore the wildlife at the small, yet charming, Tautphaus Park Zoo or discover the Idaho Falls at the Greenbelt, a 10 km paved trail that welcomes cyclists and pedestrians alike.
