Jerome County Historical Museum
The display’s of Jerome County Historical Museum reveal story about development of ‘North Side Irrigation Project’; which is amongst the successful ‘Carey Irrigation Act projects’ all over Idaho; especially for its people and towns. Objects from ‘Minidoka Relocation Center’ are also on the display. A big research library has been made available; which is inclusive of around 100 bound volumes relating to newspapers; along with a huge collection of ‘detailed indexes’.
One can call museum office and make arrangements for special tours. It should be noted that certain items have been kept for sale as well.
Timings
This museum remains closed on Sundays and Mondays. From Tuesdays to Saturdays, it remains open between 13:00 and 17:00. National holidays are strictly observed by the museum.
Objects available for sale
These objects include glass ornaments, North side Inn China Plate, a book ‘Now and Then’ which can be autographed by author on request.
