Lewiston is a city in Nez Perce County in Idaho, USA; it is located at the junction of the Rivers Snake and Clearwater. Lewiston was founded as well as formally incorporated as a city in 1861. It takes its name from its explorer Meriwether Lewis.
The economy of Lewiston is quite stable. Paper and timber industries form the backbone of this city’s economy. This city also enjoys the status of being the only seaport in Idaho.
