Nampa: Attractions and more...
Nampa also hosts an annual harvest festival and farmer’s market since 1908. This is a complete celebration of fun and excitement for all. From this festival, the Snake River Stampede Rodeo emerged in 1937. There is the local congregation of the Church of the Nazarene which built a small elementary school in 1913.
Then there is the Karcher Mall which was built in 1965 and which became the first indoor shopping mall in the Treasure Valley. This mall was the “the place to gather” for many decades until the Boise Towne Square was built in 1988.
At present, this city is growing pretty fast with introduction of new shopping centers, roads, market places and lots of entertainment facilities. Overall Nampa has 24 parks and the largest park is the Lakeview Park.
