Idaho State University is a public university which is operated by Idaho State and was established in 1901. It has more than 280 programs with seven colleges offering programs in natural and physical science, education, pharmacy, technology and many such fields. There are total 452 faculty here with overall student enrollment of 13, 802 students. The university was conceived by Governor Frank W Hunt, who signed Senate Bill 53 and established the Academy of Idaho contingent upon private land donations being made for its site. By 1910, enrollment had reached almost with 300 students.
