Post Falls: Attractions and more...
Falls Park is the founding site of Post Falls. It is situated at the Trendy Rock in the Northern Idaho region. Trails leading from both the Post Falls and the nearby gorge give access to the park. The trail itself is very beautiful and provides scenic views of the surroundings and waterfalls.
The Q'Emiln Trail System is a large trail that connects to twelve routes which lead to several historic sites in the region such as mining camps and abandoned homesteads. Post Falls got it name from its founder Fredrick Post.
Treaty Rock Historic Site is a famous historic landmark which was the meeting place for Andrew Seltice and Frederick Post, when the former handed over the land to the latter. Various paintings and petroglyphs, done by American Indians, are displayed on a marked trail.
The Grayhound Park and Event Center is well-known for its off-track greyhound and horse racing. The park also hosts various events in its Bingo Hall and provides quality services. It is the largest facility in the area.
