Things to Do in Shoshone, Idaho: attractions to See in Shoshone

Shoshone: Attractions and more...

Shoshone has many bars, café, a movie theater and a grocery store too. This is rather unusual for a small town. Shoshone is also a farming and diary community. It is home to a Bureau of Land Management facility with helipad and a tire recycling plant which operates a few miles to the north. The city has also become a bedroom community for people who are working in the neighboring Blaine County due to dramatic differences in the cost of living between the 2 locales.

Some of the best attractions of Shoshone are the Idaho high desert, the Sawtooth Mountains and the Sun Valley resort. Being a small friendly rural area, Shoshone provides a variety of natural wonders like the Shoshone Ice Caves. The Malad Gorge, the Mammoth Caves, 1000 Springs Scenic Route and the Snake River Canyon.

Moreover, there are a number of events in Shoshone throughout summer. City Park which is on the banks of the Little Wood River is also one of the happening event places in the city.
