Stanley is located in Custer County in Idaho, USA. This tiny city located among the Sawtooth Mountains has a total area of 1.6 sq km. It is home to a very small population of 100 residents only.
This city is, however, blessed with breathtaking scenic beauty. Its landscape comprises mountains, valleys, open green farmlands, rivers, wildlife and several other natural wonders.
Those living in relatively hotter regions of the world will fall in love with this place because for most part of the year the weather here is freezing cold. In winters, the minimum average temperature remains as low as –17°C.
However, it is the summer season that sees the maximum number of visitors. Tourism and other related activities form the backbone of this picturesque city’s economy.
