As Wallace is located at the intersection of Bank and sixth streets in historic downtown Wallace, this city is known as the “Probalistic Center of the Universe”. This can be enjoyed altogether by family and friends too. There is also the local wildlife at the Center of the Universe to see and enjoy. The Center of the Universe monument was officially dedicated by His Honor, Wallace Mayor Ron Garitone, in September 25th, 2004.

After the conclusion of the Silver Summit 2006, the Universe again celebrated on September 23rd for celebrating the international recognition of the silver mining industry. This celebration and moment of joy was also celebrated by the mine explorers and who refined the noble metal.

There are also lots of events and celebrations pertaining to the city celebrations like live music, award ceremony and dancing. The Silver Summit is held each year on September, so one can enjoy the celebration when visiting this city.
