Arcola can be described as a city located in county of Douglas, Illinois, US.

Arcola had been founded in the year 1855. It was when construction of Illinois Central Railroad took place all through the nation. This railroad itself had been responsible for platting, surveying, and finding of the town.

Arcola is well-known for Lawn Rangers; i.e. a ‘precision lawn mower drill team’ which marches with lawn mowers and brooms while having worn cowboy hats.
