Arlington Heights is a very wealthy village located in Cook County, Illinois in the northwestern sub-urban area of Chicago. The village is located about 25 miles northwest of Chicago. According to the 2003 Census the village recorded a population of around 76,031 which is the largest for any village in the United States. It also has the eleventh largest municipality in Illinois. According to the United States Census Bureau, the city is supposed to have a total area of about 16.40 square miles out of which 16.36 square miles is covered by land and only 0.04 square miles is in water. Only a small portion is covered by water thus a maximum portion of the land in the village is suitable for agricultural purposes. The village has also developed some religious institutions like churches that reflect the religious origin of the citizens which is basically Christianity. Due to its location in the northern part of the country it experiences a cool climate.
