Arlington Heights is a wonderful place to visit because of its cool climate and many entertainment venues in the form of various parks, museums, churches, etc. Many tourists often visit here for a change from their hectic life. There are many parks in the city for relaxation, recreation and entertainment. The much popular parks include the Arlington Heights Park and Salt Creek Rural Park out of which the Arlington Heights Park is famous because of the attractive location of the park. There are many museums that have been established here that have added to its historic importance. There are many churches situated in the city. Some of them are listed here which include Presbyterian which was established in 1856 and Methodist which was established just two years after the establishment of the Presbyterian Church. The other entertainment places to visit include the Metropolis Performing Arts Centre which includes live entertainment as well as education and Arlington Theater which include art movie auditoriums.
