The Paramount Theatre
The Paramount Theatre is one of the top ten theatres in Chicago. It has an annual revenue of $3 million and an audience base of 0.15 million. The Paramount Theatre was owned by Paramount Pictures and was open to public since September 03, 1931. In 1976 it was taken over by the Aurora Civic Center Authority and was restored and reopened to public by April 29, 1978. Today the theatre offers a variety in theatre, music, dance and comedy.
Tickets can purchased either by phone, fax or by stopping by the Box Office. The office hours for Box office are Monday to Friday 1000 hrs to 1800 hrs. and on Saturdays, 1300 hrs to 1700 hrs.
Philips Park Zoo
The Philips Park Zoo attracts many visitors from all parts of the world. This park was actually established in 1915. One gets to see many wild animals such as Wolves, Four horned sheep, Llamas, Bald eagle etc. At present, this zoo has exotic bird house and other Central American reptiles.
The zoo is open all along the year from 0900 hrs to 1700 hrs daily apart from Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years.
