Old town Bloomingdale is at the intersection of the lake street and the Bloomingdale road. There are a collection of small businesses along with shops which are situated in restored buildings which is the original site of the first settlement of the village.There are many places which one can get to visit during the stay in Bloomingdale. Stratford square mall
This amazing mall is situated at Gary Avenue and Army Trail Road. It is the largest of Bloomingdale’s shopping centers. The mall has a lot of attractive retailers like New York & Company, Abercrombie & Fitch to name a few. The mall also has a 16-screen Century Theatre Cineplex. One can visit the mall from 1000 hrs to 2100 hrs on Monday through to Saturday and on Sundays from 1100 hrs to 1800hrs.
Bloomingdale Public golf course
The Bloomingdale golf club opened in 1924. It was initially called Glendale Golf Course. The golf course has a country club setting and outstanding amenities. It is considered as one of the most famous way to entertain key customers and tourists from all parts of the world. The golf course is also open to raise money for a good charitable cause. One can host his next golf course outing in this club. These outings should be booked in advance on any weekdays and after 0900 hrs on the weekends. There are various contests like the longest drive contests, straightest drive contests, hole in one events, individual and handicapped scoring etc.
The golf club is open from 0900 hrs to 1600 hrs during winter, during spring and fall from 0730 hrs till dark, and from 0530 hrs till dark during summers.
