The Mclean County Museum of History has its roots back to 1892. This museum is housed inside the old McLean County Courthouse. It has some of the permanent as well as rotating exhibits which explore the history of Central Illinois.
Apart from educational programming, there are availability of library and archive resources and even sponsors of many community events. This museum also provides a driving audio-tour that highlights the Lincoln historic sites in Bloomington-Normal.
