The Calumet Memorial Park features the Memorial Park Field house, baseball fields, volleyball courts and picnic areas. It was established in 1922 to provide safe and enjoyable recreational activities for the residents of Calumet City. Its boundaries encompass the communities of Calumet City and Burnham.
The park has various cultural, recreational and intellectual activities being organized. There are sports camps, swimming lessons, day camps for children, basketball camps, karate lessons and other activities.
