Tourist Guide Carol Stream
Carol Stream can be described as a hamlet located in county of DuPage, Illinois, US. Having incorporated on 5th of January, 1959, it’s named after daughter of developer.
A general misconception which has been prevalent these days is that ‘municipality’ of Carol Stream had been named with regards to local ‘minor’ waterway. However, the reality, as mentioned above, is that it’s the sole community all over the US that happened to take its name from ‘1st’ and ‘last’ names of ‘living person’, i.e. Carol Stream: daughter of Jay Stream, its founder.
As per US Census Bureau, area of Carol Stream on the whole comes out to be 23.1 sq. Km; out of which 0.45%25 consists of water.
According to census conducted in the year 2000, population of Carol Stream was 40438; with its density being 1754.3 per sq. Km. Around 3.4%25 of total population was found to be below poverty line; inclusive of 3.1%25 of the ones below 18 years of age.
