Chicago’s Salvage One is part home décor, part antique shop, part event space, and part art gallery. This is quite possible one of my coolest event spaces in the city. The store itself is full of beautiful architectural artifacts, funky art pieces and furniture. Everything is for sale so if you see something you like while visiting or attending an event, you can purchase it.
This is a unique and unforgettable location for a party or wedding, but it’s also a great place to spend an hour or two hanging out. It's the absolute best place to find a quirky, vintage piece of decor, as you wander through floors of recycled items on a lazy Saturday afternoon.
It’s a beautiful and creative space that is easily transformed into the perfect wedding venue. The staff is wonderful to work with and the pricing is fairly reasonable as event locations go. It’s very uniquely decorated and if you want to have a portion of your event outdoors, there is a lovely courtyard with a bathtub fountain and a gazebo type structure. This space is an exceptionally creative and unique venue that does an excellent job of evoking the feeling of Chicago and the exceptional architectural history belonging to it.
