Reviews Water Tower Place
Water Tower Place
This mall, located on the Magnificent Mile, is in the heart of downtown Chicago. The mall itself is beautiful and modern with glass elevators and a lovely fountain on the first floor escalators.
At 8 stories high and offering all the stores you could possibly want including Macy's, Abercrombie, Sephora, Oakley, and many more. It has a good range of mid-priced to high-end shops so whatever you’re looking for, you’re likely to find. The American Girl store is pretty impressive and worth stopping by to see.
Tourists tend to flock here and on weekends the place is generally packed so if you’re able to visit on the weekdays, it might be a more enjoyable experience. The food court, Food Life, has a good selection of food not typical of your average mall food court, which is always refreshing. I love Hot Dog on a Stick as much as the next person, but…it’s always nice to have a few more interesting options to choose from.
The architecture is nice and if you’re visiting Mag Mile anyway, it’s fun to stop by though I would time your visit for a weekday and unless you plan to do some shopping, there are more interesting places to spend time people watching.
