Blues Club, also known as B.L.U.E.S., is the place to go for the best live music performance in the city. This is the oldest bars in Chicago and was started in 1979 in Halstead.
Popular bands such as the Rolling Stones and Eric Clapton have performed here. The Blues Club has two halls which can hold up to a hundred people each. It is better to wear light clothing inside as it can get pretty warm after a while.
The cover charge is fifteen dollars which might seem a bit high but it is worth it. This is the best place to visit to have a drink and listen to music.
It is a bit dingy, tiny and smoky and can get pretty crowded too, but, some of the popular local artists perform some great numbers here.
There are interactive shows and CDs of past performances are also sold here.
