The Shops at North Bridge, located within Chicago's Magnificent Mile, is nice but nothing to write home about. It’s your typical mall with a good selection of the moderate to upscale shops you would find at any mall around the country. Nordstrom, Hugo Boss, etc. etc. The best thing it has going for it is a decent food court with a variety of restaurants that you wouldn’t typically find in the food court of an average mall. Think omelette/sandwich and sushi places instead of McDonald’s and Subway. There are also a few sit down chain restaurants such as P.F. Changs and Buca di Beppo’s.
There is a Nordstrom Spa if you need to take a break from shopping on the Magnificent Mile or you can swing by Bike and Roll which offers basic bike and segway rental, tours, and a bike-sharing program. It’s a nice mall, but I wouldn’t go out of my way while visiting Chicago to see it. If you’re a shopaholic, then it’s probably a nice place to hang out on a cold day.
