Clark Street is a north south street in Chicago and runs near the Lake Michigan Shore. This street is occasionally slightly diagonal, but runs more north-south rather than northwest-southeast. It was built on the path of an Indian trail which ran all the way to the Green Bay in Wisconsin. The street is named after George Rogers Clark, a revolutionary War hero.
