Farm House Museum was established in 1976. The farm house provides its visitor a look at pioneer living of the 1860-1900 time periods. The farm house was originally part of the schuette farmstead. The museum specializes in depicting the history of the Elk Grove area and the development of Elk Grove Village. The museum remains open whole year and offers tours, history related programs and assistance with research on Elk Grove Village and the area around it.
