Tourist Guide Elmhurst
Elmhurst is located in the sub urban region of Chicago in the Du Page County in Illinois, U.S.A. According to the special Census recorded in 2006 the city is considered to have a total population of around 43,300. According to the United States Census Bureau, the city is supposed to have a total area of about 10.3 square miles, the entire portion of which is covered by land. Due to the absence of rivers and reservoirs agriculture is the major problem encountered here. About 93 percent of the residents here belong to the White community; about 4 percent have Hispanic origin and remaining have Asian origin. Because of this reason the religion followed here by most of the people is Christianity. Elmhurst is well served by buses, and there is also a railroad station with an efficient railway service. On an average the climate here is pretty cool with a temperature around 14 degrees. The town often suffers from moderate to heavy snowfalls in the months of December and January.
