Tourist Guide Hanover Park
A village in the Cook and DuPage counties in the state of Illinois, Hanover Park was developed in 1950 as a residential suburb. It is spread over 6.8 square miles of land and has an estimated population of 38,278 as per the 2000 US census.
The Hanover Park District is responsible for the maintenance of the 21 park sites spread over an area of 128 acres and comprises of three park districts, the Bartlett Park district, Hanover Park Park district and the Schaumburg Park district. The major portion of the park area is under the Hanover Park Park district. It is responsible for the provision of entertainment and recreation facilities to the residents of the area. The huge wildlife reserves in and around the place is an ideal weekend retreat into the outdoors with activities like bird watching, horseback riding, boating, fishing and trekking.
The city also provides amenities like Golf clubs, theaters, museums and other recreational facilities to its residents.
