The Itasca city is a very well known city in the state of Illinois. The reason why this city is so famous is its natural beauty and awesome landscapes which prove that the city is blessed by nature. Many tourists come to the city every year to experience the natural beauty the city has and enjoy the serenity of the place. There are many beautiful small hills covered up with greenery which adds to the beauty of the city. The city is also known for the number of churches it has in its vicinity. The city has in all a total number of 12 churches in its area. The area occupied by the city is quite large as compared to the small neighboring cities. The city comprises of a total area of around 5.9 square kilometers. Due to such large areas and awesome living conditions, a lot of the population is getting attracted to the city for settling down. The population of the city as per the last measured census was around 8,913.
