Tourist Guide Lake Zurich
Lake Zurich is a village which is situated in the Lake County in Illinois. A 2003 special census put the village's population at 19,005. The village is located by a lake so is called as Lake Zurich. In 2006 Lake Zurich was declared as one of the top hundred "Best Places to Raise Your Family". The land here is mainly marshy land and there are also many beaches on the shores of the lake. According to the 2000 census the city is recorded to have a total population of around 18,200. According to the United States Census Bureau, the city is supposed to have a total area of about 6.9 square miles out of which 6.5 square miles is covered by land and only 0.4 square miles is in water. Major percentages of the population here originate from the White Community and hence majority of the local people here are Christians. The climate here is humid in the mid of the year and often suffers from mild snowfalls in the beginning of the year.
