The Marriott Theater is a respected Chicago area regional theater. Founded in 1975, this theatre presented more than 170 musicals and is led by executive producer, Terry James and Artistic Directors Andy Hite and Aaron Thielen. It is the most subscribed musical theatre in the country. This theater has become a driving force in development of original and re-thought musicals. It has received 370 Joseph Award nominations, which is the highest theatrical honor for artistic achievement in Chicago.
