Having been recognized as the most ancient home within Lombard, Sheldon Peck Homestead can be described as a farmhouse that had been home of ‘Sheldon Peck’, i.e. a portrait painter of national renown as well as an artist who went on to paint in US between 1820 and 1868. His ‘folk paintings’ are being housed this place. Exhibits about the first school of the area are also on display.
