Naval Station Great Lakes is the United States headquarters Command for provision of training and is located in North Chicago. Some of the important tenant commands include training support center, recruit training center and naval recruiting district Chicago. This headquarters is also the largest military installation in Illinois and the largest training center in the Navy. It was built in the period from 1903 to 1927.
