The Oakbrook Terrace city is considered as the 4th smallest city in the complete state of Illinois. The city is very small as compared to its neighboring cities. The total geographical area of the city as per the Unites States geological survey of 2007 was around 5.1 square kilometers only. The Oakbrook Terrace city is famous for the motels that are built on the city near the Interstate 80 highway which passes through the city. Almost all the travelers travelling through the city make a note to take a halt in the motels of the city. Educationally the city is quiet developed and have many institutes and colleges which support education. The population of the city according to the 2006 census was estimated to be 2,188. The city of Oakbrook Terrace also has a couple of churches built since the civil war. The city has many large scale industries which has helped the city to marks its notification on the corporate world of United States of America. Very less land is available in the city for agriculture.
