This cemetery had been founded in the year 1859. Moreover, it had been known as ‘Orland Burial Ground’ then. This thing got annexed to Orland Park in the year 1930. Existing name got adopted in the year 1936. Cox Family Monument; which was erected originally still stands today. John Humphrey, a senator who has been credited for having organized Orland Park was buried here itself.
