The Burpee Museum of Natural History is situated along the Rock River in Downtown Rockford in Illinois. This museum has four floors with modern exhibits. Some of the exhibits are specimen based having interactive and educational components. There are also fossil and biological specimens which are located on the third floor. The first floor exhibits paleontology and such history of earth. The second floor presents Geosciences exhibits where rocks and minerals can be found. This is an altogether museum attracting millions of visitors across the globe each year. This museum was established in 1941 and opened in 1942.
