The Heritage Museum is situated in a quaint house which was built in 1850. Overall, there are six galleries which are totally devoted to the primary immigrant groups which settled in Southwest Rockford. There are displays of early Rockford maps, artifacts, vintage clothing’s and many more displays. The historical photographs narrate the stories of the earliest settlers who had established factories in the city and had built their homes.
