Rosemont is located in Cook County in the state of Illinois, USA. Rosemont was recently incorporated in 1956. Due to its close proximity to Chicago, especially the O’Hare International Airport, Rosemont is an important centre of tourism. There are several business convention centres, hotels and firms in this region.

Economic progress of this region began with the construction of the railroad in the late nineteenth century, and later with the building of an aircraft assembly plant during World War II.

The annual average temperature is around 18°C. It is best to avoid travel between the months of November and February, when the temperature is low.

With a population of barely 4,200, most locals are engaged in commerce and industry. The Hispanics form a significant part of the population, followed by African-Americans.
