The historical research room is maintained by the Schiller Park historical commission which was formed in 1989. It is located at the schiller park public library.The room contains many interesting items like photographs, maps, news paper articles, costumes and many more which attracts many visitors through out the year. It supports the educational program which includes curriculum activities for fifth graders and has a decent program for selected eighth graders. It also maintains the records for military service wall of Honor at Clocktower Park.
